The Hoshizaki IM-240APE-U-23 is a high-performance modular cube ice maker from Hoshizaki’s UltraCUBE range, designed for busy commercial environments that need a reliable supply of clear, consistent ice. Producing up to 190kg of medium 23g cubes per 24 hours, this air-cooled ice machine is ideal for bars, restaurants, hotels, event venues and other high-demand catering sites.
As part of the UltraCUBE series, the IM-240APE-U-23 includes enhanced hygiene features, including UV-C sanitisation to help inhibit contamination in the water tank and standing water. The closed water circuit gives further protection during the ice-making process, supporting cleaner, safer ice production.
The machine uses Hoshizaki’s closed cell system, forming each ice cube individually for consistent quality and reduced risk of cloudy or chipped cubes. A smart variable-speed DC pump motor adjusts the water flow throughout the freezing cycle, helping to improve ice quality while reducing energy and water consumption.
Built with durability and ease of maintenance in mind, the IM-240APE-U-23 features automated cleaning, cleaning notifications, a removable water tank and pump, and stainless steel internal components. It also uses R290 natural refrigerant, offering an efficient and more environmentally conscious cooling solution for professional ice production.
